ProJECT LIFT RESOURCE COORDINATOR

Project LIFT OverviewProject LIFT (Lifting and Investing in Families Thriving) offers critical short-term assistance and support, coaching, workforce development, and other resources, and applies learnings from each family’s experience to systemic solutions that support long-term success for all families.

This initiative is a coordinated effort by United Way of Greater Cincinnati to activate community-driven solutions through a connected network of partner organizations.

 Job Purpose
The Resource Coordinator partners with families as they journey toward long-term stability. The ideal candidate must have the desire to provide strength-based coaching, be flexible to respond to immediate needs and challenges, and be dependable and inclusive. The Resource Coordinator will be the primary contact and representative for Project LIFT with our partners and United Way. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services to families with a family-centered and strengths-based coaching approach 

  • Assess barriers to employments and well-being and assist participants in developing appropriate solutions and accessing resources

  • Connect families to family support services, financial education, and workforce development programs both through direct referrals in the Project Lift network and across the community 

  • Complete data entry, and file documentation to ensure program compliance and service delivery

  • Build trusting relationships with neighbors 

  • Maintain and build relationships with community partners

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor of Social Work or related professional experience with at least two years of direct social service experience.

  • Strong computer literacy skills, familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, cloud-based data management systems, and experience with Salesforce are a plus. 

  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills

  • Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation to attend off-site meetings and training as needed

Hours and Compensation

  • FT position for 40 hrs weekly

  • The position may require limited evening hours.

  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage for the employee

  • Generous PTO and Holiday schedule 

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work off-site when needed

  • Salary $45,000-$55,000 pending education and experience
